Roman is a 28-year-old Centerback originally from Barcelona, Spain who is currently playing for AEK Larnaka in the 1st League in Cyprus. Roman signed as a 17 year old for Wigan Athletic after being identified by Roberto Martinez as a top talent. With Wigan, Roman won the FA Cup against Manchester City. After spending some time with Wigan, he made a move to Germany to play for 1. FC Köln. After some time in Germany, he wanted to make a move back home to Spain to play near family and friends, as well as to get his mind right. Roman played a couple of seasons in the 2nd Division in Spain before making a move to the first league in Cyprus with Nea Salamina. After a great season in Cyprus, he signed in the first league with Maccabi Netanya in Israel. After some time in Israel, he made a move back to Cyprus with AEK Larnaka FC. He enjoys the relaxed lifestyle and the professionalism within football in Cyprus. In his free time, Roman likes to unwind from football by doing creative projects.
